Geotextile
Geotextile
Petroseal geotextile (typically non-woven polyester or polypropylene) protects HDPE geomembrane from puncture, separates dissimilar soils, and provides filtration and drainage in dam and canal build-ups. On Suki Kinari Hydropower Project and Diamer Bhasha Dam civil packages, geotextile is specified under and over liner zones, behind riprap, and in drainage blankets coordinated with FWO, Power China, and local installation crews. It is the essential companion product to our HDPE geomembrane on major water infrastructure.
Key features
- — Cushion layer under/over HDPE geomembrane on dam works
- — Separation and filtration in lined canals and reservoirs
- — High puncture resistance when specified as heavy-weight grade
- — Supplied in wide rolls for rapid deployment on large sites
- — Integrated supply with geocell and geogrid on Bhasha & Suki Kinari
Applications
- — Geomembrane protection and subgrade separation
- — Dam toe drainage and filter blankets
- — Canal bed and slope lining underlay
- — Riprap and rockfill interface on hydraulic structures
